At a young age Lucarelli was raised listening to artists such as Stevie wonder, Alexanda O'neil, Luther Vandross, and a wide range of 80's soul. At 13 he started his career and became one of the UK's youngest DJ's playing in a range of under 18's club nights throughout London and the UK. With jungle being the order of the day and mc's beginning to saturate the tunes, Lucarelli soon realised that his true passion was for house and garage music.
So he decided that a venture into the up and coming 4-Floor garage and 2Step scene would give him access to the vocal and soulful sounds he deisired. By the age of 18 Lucarelli was playing alongside dj's such as The Dreem Team, Master Stepz, Pied Piper and EZ to name but a few. Lucarelli also hosted a prime time set on pirate radio station Life Fm for many years, which at the time was one of NW londons most popular. This gave him the chance to network with a variety of independant labels such as Confetti, Purple Room Vinyl and Garage Fever. Therefore, opening his eyes to the world of production and vocalist management. Now beginning to feel restricted by the limited opportunities within the UKG dj scene, he decided to venture into producing. Being soulfuly inspired from an early age, he aimed to produce what his heart was initially into, soulful house. With a desire to bring something fresh to the house scene. He decided to take samples from original rhythm n blues and jazz artists such as Aretha Franklin, Major Harris, King Curtis and Ray Charles and add chunky beats and funky basslines. With his promo releases being played by the scenes dj's, he realised that he would have to move into recording original vocals. This would give more freedom of expression and ensure he was not restricted by copyright issues. Present day now sees Lucarelli producing with artists such as Simone Cooper, Kye, Chenai Zinyuku and Janine Craig. Bringing his original and signature style to the dancefloors of the world. Now being chased by major labels for remix work, Lucarelli is planning to add his touch to a wider audience.
